Services for Cleo Keith Palmer, 78, Hampton, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton. The Rev. Tom Hungerford will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Palmer died Monday, Oct. 5, 1992, at Ellsworth Hospital, Iowa Falls.

He was born March 26, 1914, in Russell, to Mark and Jessica (Bozell) Palmer. He attended school in Chariton.

On Feb. 12,, 1941, he married Mabel Paulsen at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Mr. Palmer was a farmer and member of the Hampton Police Department for 15 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel Palmer, Hampton; one son Ronald Palmer, Hampton; one daughter, Janice Klingenberg, Hampton; one brother, Lester Palmer, Russell; one sister, Agnes Hull, Chariton; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and one step great-grandchild.
