Eleonora K. Kelson, 95, of Blue Springs, Mo., and formerly of the Heritage House in Hampton, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at St. Mary's Manor in Blue Springs.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 21 at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with the Rev. Mary Peterson officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born May 20, 1909, in rural Franklin County to Jakob and Kjesten (Jorgensen) Christensen.

She graduated from high school in Withee, Wis.

On July 12, 1932, she married Alfred J. Kelson in Momence, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Hampton.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, traveling, playing cards, sight-seeing, gardening, crossword puzzles and life.

She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle E. Zalac, Downers Grove, Ill., and Alice (Bill) Pierce, Blue Springs, Mo., a son, Allan dean (Sharon) Kelson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, three brothers, a son R. Gene Kelson, an infant daughter (Carol), and a grandson.
