Ezra P. Miller, 95, of Hampton died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at North Iowa Mercy Health center in Mason City.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 19, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton, with the Rev. Joyce Guldager officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton was in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 11, 1899, in Franklin County, the son of Peter and Kirsten (Jensen) Miller.
He attended Hamilton Middle School in Franklin County, Ellsworth College in Iowa
Falls and Grandview college in Des Moines.

He married Agna Nielson on Oct. 10, 1923, in Newell.

He was a farmer. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the farm Bureau and Vero Beach Tourist Club Chorus.

He is survived by two sons, Armond of Newton and Leo of Sheffield; a sister, Ida Egede of Hampton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and six sisters.
