Mrs. A.B.P. Miller, nee Antonie Ljungman, died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 7, at Franklin General Hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 10 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Milton Eklund officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Antonie Miller was born in Horsens, Denmark, Oct. 23, 1893 where she spent her childhood and early youth in the home of her parents, one sister and two brothers. Her early education she received in the schools of that community.

Preparing herself for the teaching profession, she attended the University of Aarhus from which she was a graduate, taking courses also in music and art which she pursued in her teaching career, mainly as private tutor.

Mrs. Miller came to the U.S. in 1921 to visit her sister in Vilborg. S.D. Throughout those first years Antonie taught in Parochial schools and at Grand View College, des Moines, and Atterdog College, Solvang, Calif., and was instructor for the women in needlework and gymnastics.

In 1925 Antonie was married in Vaborg, S.D., to Benjamin Miller and came with him to Hampton where together they made their home on the Miller family farm in Hamilton Twp.

She was an artist in her own right in all phases of a gracious homemaker and mother. To them was born in 1927 a son, Erling, who entered services in the Korean war and died in a plane accident in Seoul in 1952.

She was a member of St. John's Church and took an active part in the work, and also entered other work of the community.

Surviving are her husband, a brother, Kaj Ljungman, Denmark, eight nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, one sister and one brother.
