Esther P. McRoberts, 75, of Hampton died Sunday, May 21, 1995, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton, with the Rev. Joyce Guldager officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Hampton. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton.

She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Franklin County, the daughter of Jorgen and Christine (Madsen) Paulsen. She attended Hampton High School.
She married Charles McRoberts on June 6, 1948, in rural Hampton.

She was a homemaker and a member of St . John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton.

She is survived by a daughter, Chris (Mrs. Dale) Rohlk of Omaha, Neb., a sister, Mabel Palmer of Hampton; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
