Last Rites are Held Friday for Jens G. Jensen

Funeral services for Jens G. Jensen, of Coulter, were held Friday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton, with Rev. W.R. Garred, Pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jensen passed away Tuesday, May 29th, at the Mercy hospital, in Mason City, where he had been a patient for a week.

He was born March 12, 1879, in Denmark. He came to the United States in 1900 and settled at Story City.

On March 13, 1903, he was married to Maren D. Moller, at Story City. They made their home there until in 1913 when they moved to near Coulter.

Mr. Jensen is survived by two sons, Arlo Jensen and Einer Jensen, and one daughter, Mrs. John (Esther) Stadtlander. All of Hampton, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and two sisters who live in Denmark.

He is preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 1953, and his parents.

Mr. Jensen was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
