Evald O. Jensen, 80, of rural Hampton, died Friday, Dec. 1, 1995, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center east campus in Mason City.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton, with the Revs. A.E. Norson and Joyce Guldager officiating. Burial was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery of rural Hampton.

He was born June 27, 1915, in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, the son of Nels and Ingaborg (Andersen) Jensen. He attended Coulter and Hampton Schools and Grandview College.

He married Caroline Dohrmann June 16, 1938, in Clarion.

He was a lifetime farmer and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was an active member of the Iowa Falls Flying Farmers.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Jensen of rural Hampton; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Carolyn "Joy") Christiansen of Coulter; two grandchildren; two great-grand-children; and one sister, Rosa Hansen of Hampton. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one great-granddaughter.
