Service for Einer N. Jensen, 85, Hampton, were held Saturday, June 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hampton. The Rev. Tom Hungerford officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jensen died Thursday, June 14, 1990, at Franklin General hospital.

He was born Dec. 5, 1904, in Gilbert, to Jens and Dorthea (Miller) Jensen. He served in the U.S. Army during World war II from 1942 to 1944.

On April 5, 1944, he married Evelyn Hansen at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hampton. He was a farmer in the Hampton area.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, Hampton; one daughter, Linda, Bloomington, Minn.; two sons, Merlyn Schloemer, Hampton, and Larry Jensen, Ankeny; one sister, Mrs. Esther Stadtlander, Hampton; and one brother, Arlo Jensen, Hampton.
Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of arrangements.
