Hampton School Lad Dies After Operation
Peritoitis Takes E.A. Grosche Wednesday MorningErik A. Grosche, eleven year old son of Mr. And Mrs. A. Grosche, of Hampton, died wednesday morning at the Lutheran hospital in Hampton from pertonitis following an operation for the removal of ruptured appendix last Sunday. Erik had been taken ill Friday afternoon, but the pain in his side was thought to be stomach ache and he did not receive immediate medical attention.
The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. A. Grosche and by one brother, Arne Emil Grosche, five years of age.
Erik was a member of the Hampton school band, and was in the six grade in Hampton public schools, a fine little fellow.
Funeral services will be held at the home in Hampton at 1:30 o'clock next Saturday, and at the St. John's Evangelical Church four miles southeast of Coulter at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. E.E. Hansen, pastor of the church, will conduct the services, and burial will be made in the church cemetery there.
