Chris N. Christiansen, age sixty three, a north Iowa creamery manager for many years, died Wednesday in the Lutheran Hospital, at Hampton, where he had been a patient for four days. He had been manager of the Dows Cooperative Creamery for the last ten years. Previously he was a creamery manager at Hampton and Zearing.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, near Coulter.

Rev. W.R. Garred officiated and burial was made in St. John's Cemetery. The Van Hove Funeral Home of Dows was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Christiansen was born November 5, 1897, at Odense, Denmark. He was married May 25, 1931 to Nicoline Andersen, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Paul Christiansen, of Des Moines, and Keith Christiansen, at home, two daughters, Margo Christiansen of Greely, Colorado, and Esther Marie Christiansen of Des Moines, and one brother and two sisters in Denmark.
