Chapin - Mrs. Leslie Mordick, who lived east of town, died at the hospital at Hampton early Wednesday. Mrs. Mordick has been a patient at the hospital the past four weeks following a Caesarian operation.

Cora Stanfield was born at Bangor, Iowa, April, 1915. She is survived by her husband and four weeks old son, Harold, and three brothers, two of Union and one at Marshalltown.

The funeral services will be held at the Chapin Methodist church Friday afternoon, with the Rev. A.R. Grant in charge. Burial will be made in the Chapin Wayside cemetery. The body was taken to the Wartnaby funeral home in Sheffield.
