Rites Held for Everett Muir, 64
Everett Muir, 64, passed away suddenly Monday morning, August 21st, at his home near Aredale. He was born August 9, 1897, in Hampton, the son of David and Florence Muir. He was married to Alfreda Allen in December, 1919. He farmed in the Aredale area most of his life.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David, at home, and James of Offutt Air Base, Nebraska; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Marcia) Root; three grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church in Aredale on Thursday afternoon, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. H.E. Buss officiated. Burial was held in the Harlan Cemetery south of Aredale.
