Mrs. Clara E. Mettler, wife of Samuel Mettler, 320 South Seventh street, died at 7:10 a.m. today at a local hospital.

Clara E. Fackler was born in Franklin county, Iowa, August 18, 1885, and was married to Samuel Mettler, March 5, 1905.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is a daughter 4 years old, her father W.H. Fackler of Cedar Rapids and a brother, E. Clyde Fackler of McGregor, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at the Turner chapel at 3 p.m. Friday. The Rev. M.R. Drury will officiate and burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
