STOFFERS, PEIL, BLAIR

Alexander, Oct. 29 - Funeral services were held at the Reform church in charge of the pastor the Rev. J.B. Frerich, for Dick Stoffers, 36, who died at his home. He was in poor health for several years.

Mr. Stoffers was born at Meservey, October 13, 1894. He enlisted for the World war and was stationed in Camp Pike, Ark., receiving an honorary discharge. He was married to Miss Katie Peil, Nov. 2, 1921, at Alexander, where they made their home.

He leaves six brothers, Engelke Henry, Simon, Cornelius, George and Joe; one sister, Mrs. Sophia Blair, all of Alexander. Burial was in the Alexander cemetery.
