W.E. Crawford, d. 1930

Chapin, March 1 - W.E. Crawford, a pioneer resident of this community, died early Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T.T. Spainhower, from complication of diseases. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Randall of Minnesota, Mrs. T.T. Spainhower of this place and Mrs. Clifford Stayner of Hampton, and two sons, William Crawford of near Mason City, and Wayne Crawford of this place.

Mrs. Crawford died two years ago and one son, Lynn Crawford, died in the World War service. Funeral arrangements have not been made but burial will be made in the Old Chapin cemetery. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Chapin Methodist church and a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Sheffield.
