Mabel C. Giehm, 96, of Ackerly, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City,died Tuesday, May 11, 2004.
Mabel was born Oct. 1, 1907 in Tekamah, Neb. to Oscar and Hilma(Carlson) Malmberg. She spent most of her life in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools, Graduating from Central High school in 1926.

She married Dr. donald C. giehm on Aug. 12, 1932 in Sioux City.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, two daughters, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974, a brother, two sisters, and a grandson, Jeremy Giehm.
