Boulder Park

NO SURNAME, NOT A PEOPLE SEARCH

Recently I was asked about the legend of the rock in Boulder Park. I remember as a child, hearing the story of it falling on an indian princes. Is there an actual source for this story, or is it purely based on legend, and does anyone know where it originated? If you have any info, or can tell me where to look I would appreciate it.
