Searching for any residency of George Frantz. B. IL 1887, married in Dallas County to Doris Marie Ginley of Owensboro, KY, on Feb. 21, 1917 and then allegedly moved to Charles City where he was employed as a machinist. Supposedly served in WWI, but from the marriage notice until his death in Montana in 1951, he is "missing." I'm trying to prove his military service to get a government marker for his unmarked grave. Any suggestions or information would be most appreciated!
