Her maiden name was Eve/Eva Shoemaker born ca 1812 PA; m. 1831 Ohio, to John Watts born ca 1776-1784 MD. They had childen: Henry Clay b. 1838, George b. 1840, Mary Jane, b. 1842, Martha Ellen, b. 1844, Josephine, b. 1850, and Irena, b. 1852. All born in Ohio. In 1856, this family was living in Scott Twp.,Johnson County, Iowa; Cannot locate in 1860 census. The only one I have found was Mary Jane and she was married in 1859 to John Douglass. In 1863, Johnson County, Iowa, Eva Watts married a Jacob Weckhier (Weakline). I don't think this marriage lasted long. In the 1870 & 1880 census, Johnson County, as Eva Weakline. Then in 1885, Floyd Co., living with Henry Watts, his wife Mary. E. (Workman), daughters, Laura, Emma (my great grandmother), Julia; daughter & son-in-law, Alice & Carpenter Wright.
