Mrs. Rapp, 65, Dies Tuesday – Mrs. William Rapp, 65, 1203 E. St. died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at her home following a heart attack. She had been in ill health for the past year and one-half.

Mrs. Rapp was born June 22, 1896 in Lawler, Ia. She was united in marriage to William Z. Rapp Feb. 2, 1941. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband, three children of a previous marriage. They are Faye Zipse, New Hampton, Donald Tonn, Charles City and Madonna Meyer, Washington, Ia.

She is also survived by a brother, George Zipse, Memononie, Wisconsin, 2 sisters Mrs. Nellie Brooks, Waterloo and Mrs. Bess Hartson, Browndale, Minn. There are 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Friday at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. The Rt. Rev. Monsignor John J. Smith will be celebrant of the mass. Burial will take place at the Riverside cemetery.

The Sacred Heart Guild, Rosary Society and Knights of Columbus will meet Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home to recite the rosary.

NOTES:
Carrie was first married to Lonnie Tonn, and they later divorced. She then married Howard Hamilton, who died in May 1940. Then she married William Rapp, to whom she was still married at the time of her death.
