Funeral Mass for Kimberly Wunsch, 57, formerly of Greene, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greene with Rev. Msgr. Walter Brunkan officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Wake service will be 4-7 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Retz Funeral Home, 519 N. First St. Greene, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to services on Monday.

Kimberly Frances Wunsch was born October 10, 1960 in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Marlyn and Sharon (Merfeld) Wunsch, and passed away June 20, 2018 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

She graduated from Greene High School in 1979. Kimberly has worked for the Des Moines Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic in Des Moines for the past 13 years.

Kim loved to cook, attended concerts, travel, and spend time with her family. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and was looking forward to the two newest additions that will arrive soon.

Living family members include her four children: Zac Folkerts of Kansas City, Mo; Teah (Michael) Spark, Brentwood, MO; Bradi (Calvin) Bailey, Longmont, Co; Sawyer Kilen, Phoenix, AZ; two Grandchildren: Dean & Nora; siblings: Jean Wunsch, West Des Moines; Melissa (Brian Uhlenhop) Wunsch, Greene; Kirk (Robyn) Wunsch, Greene; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by Paul and Nola Wunsch (paternal grandparents); Harry and Dorothy Merfeld (maternal grandparents).
