NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Beverly J. Krause, 84, of Nora Springs, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Dan Gerrietts of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Nora Springs Park Cemetery.

Beverly J. Krause, 84, of Nora Springs, IA, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Dan Gerrietts of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will take place in the Nora Springs Park Cemetery.
Beverly was born January 15, 1934, in Mason City, the daughter of Glen and Pearl (Coonrod) Keeney. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1952. On April 25, 1954, Beverly was united in marriage to James Krause at the First United Methodist Church in Mason City. Over the years, Beverly babysat, waitressed at the Park Inn and was a homemaker and farm wife. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, canning, holiday meals and finding new recipes.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 64 years: James Krause of Nora Springs; seven children: Carolyn Krause of Forest City, IA, Barbara Paulson of Oskaloosa, IA, Pam Krause of Mason City, Rick Krause of Des Moines, IA, Susan Krause and fiancé: Duane Hanson of Rock Falls, IA, Dennis Krause and wife Bonnie of Rockwell, IA, and Linda Krause and fiancé: Dennis Henely of Plymouth, IA; eight grandchildren: Jared Gardinier, Kodi Pinard, Andrew Mart (Amara Wanders), Joshua (Kelcey) Henely, Courtney (Nick) Kronemann, Hunter (Crystal) Krause, Melissa Pinard (Phillip Smith), Danya Henely (Shane Swanson) and Drayce; 3 step-grandchildren: Jason Cody, Jeremy Cody and Dion (Allison) Cody; five great-grandchildren: Adrian, Angela, Bristol, Finley and Gabe; five siblings: Joyce Fisher and husband Don of Belvidere, IL, Glen “Butch” Keeney and wife Lois of Arizona, Karen Bendickson of Nashua, IA, Sharon Keeney of Clear Lake, IA and Gerald Keeney and wife Sue of Belvidere. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings: Harold Keeney, Jerry Keeney, Phyllis Endriss and Ronnie Keeney.
