For many years Julie enjoyed going on camping and fishing trips to the Mississippi River. Local campgrounds, especially Mitchell Campground, numerous week-ends on the pontoon on the Cedar River, and also played a huge roll in all summer fun. Julie and Dennis loved going on numerous motorcycle trips with friends.

She was a member of Nora Springs United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women's Unit. Julie was a cancer survivor for many years. She was a fighter and always seemed to be optimistic no matter what the circumstance. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by so many who love her.
