Timothy Donald Lewis, the son of Dale and Genevieve (Schueller) Lewis, was born February 14, 1961, in New Hampton, Iowa. Tim was educated in New Hampton, graduating from New Hampton High School in 1979. Lewie worked at Liddle's SuperValu Grocery Store while in high school, which is where many of his friends worked and would gather. Tim worked at the New Hampton Truck Stop during and after high school and most recently as a die cast operator for TriMark Corporation in New Hampton. Tim was united in marriage to Rochelle "Shelz" Knutson on November 8, 1986, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Hampton. This union was blessed with two children, Jocelyn and Scott.

Tim was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City, an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer at Immaculate Conception Catholic School. Lewie helped his brother-in-law, Ron, on the farm, helped his brother, Jim, build a house and took the lead in building his own house. Tim was there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it and enjoyed visiting with people.

Tim, lovingly referred to as "Chef Lewie", loved cooking, creating his own recipes and grilling on his Big Green Egg Grill. Lewie enjoyed gardening and used the produce to make his salsa (the hotter the better) and was also known for his delicious beef jerky. He liked watching Iowa State football and cheered on the Green Bay Packers. Tim loved spending time with his family and supported his children in all of their activities.

Living family members include his wife of 30 years, Rochelle of Charles City; two children: Jocelyn Annette and Scott James; two sisters: Linda (Ron) O'Donnell of Elma and Cindi (Dave) Freidhof of Owen, Wisconsin; brother, Jim (Lisa) Lewis of New Hampton; mother-in-law, Mary Knutson of Charles City; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Nels Knutson; sister-in-law, Rhonda Knutson; and infant nephew, John O'Donnell.
