Date of Death: 07/10/2016Service: A funeral Mass for Beverly Krieger will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church in Charles City with Msgr. Carl Schmitt officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral Mass on Thursday at the church.
Beverly Jean Krieger, the daughter of LeRoy and Ruth (Billings) Clapp, was born March 26th, 1928, in Charles City. She received her education in Charles City, graduating from Charles City High School in 1946.
Bev was united in marriage to Dale Krieger on August 13, 1949, and to this union two children were born, Theodore and Scott. Bev worked at the Floyd County Medical Center for 23 years, retiring in 1990. She then worked part time as a PRN at the hospital. "Grandma Bev" also cherished her time as part of the foster grandparent program in Charles City. She was a member of the Charles City Heritage Club and enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling. Bev loved her dog and many cats especially Cappy.
Living family members include her son, Scott Krieger of Charles City, along with other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Ruth, her husband Dale in 2005, and her son Theodore in 2014.

A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, at Immaculate Conception Church in Charles City with Msgr. Carl Schmitt officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral Mass on Thursday at the church.
Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City is in charge of local arrangements.
