MASON CITY — Wayne A. Coen, 75, of Nora Springs, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapels, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with Chaplin Janet Dorenkamp officiating.

Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

Mason City, Iowa - Wayne A. Coen, 75, of Nora Springs, passed away Tuesday, (December 22, 2015) at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday (December 28, 2015) at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapels, 126 3rd Street N.E., Mason City, with Chaplin Janet Dorenkamp officiating.

Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

Wayne was born April 4, 1939, in Floyd County, Iowa, the son of Chester and Josephine (Noling) Coen. He worked for NIVC for several years.

Wayne enjoyed watching basketball, Cubs baseball, going on walks around Nora Springs when he lived there, and spending time with family and friends.
He was a long time resident of Liberty Square and a resident over twenty years at Good Shepherd Health Center.

Wayne is survived by his cousin, Karen (Jon) Tisor, Thornton and extended family members.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Joyce and grandparents.
