Miss Mae Cook
dies at 74;
Rites Monday

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, for Miss Mae Cook, 74, of rural Charles City. She died Thursday in the Cedar Valley Hospital where she had been a patient since October 2.

Miss Cook was born in the farm home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Cook, 4 1/2 miles south of Charles City on May 2, 1886. She has always lived on the Cook farm.

Survivors include three brothers, Jonsie and Ralph Cook, rural Charles City, and John Cook, Chatfield, Minnesota; tow sisters, Miss Rita Cook, rural Charles City and Mrs. Arthur Frankie, Salem, Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
