Dorothy Marie Calhoun

Dorothy Marie Calhoun was born on August 31, 1924 in Floyd, IA: the daughter of Samuel Waid and Florence Langey Waid. She was united in marriage to Alfred Ray Calhoun. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and spending time with her friends and family.

Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Crestview Acres in Marion, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Richard.

Dorothy is survived by a son Ray Calhoun of Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter Katherine Steenblock of Ingram, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
