Celia Kaiser, 88, of Charles City, passed away, Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Riverside Assisted Living in Charles City.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at First Wesleyan Church in Charles City. Pastor Patty Kellogg and Pastor Rod Rindahl will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Visitation will be held at Hauser Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 and will continue an hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Celia Marie (Rose) Kaiser, the daughter of William and Lavina (Ballard) Rose, was born on February 10, 1927 in Rockford, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Henry Kaiser on February 19, 1944 in Albert Lee, Minnesota. To this union a son, Harvey, was born. Celia was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, Women of the Moose, Heritage Club, and SWAT group at church.

Her life was Antiques where she owned Kaiser's Antiques and Gifts, and also farmed with her husband near Bassatt. She was a woman of faith who loved her church family and the lunches they shared together after worship on Sundays. Celia loved to travel with the First Citizens Bank for the Heritage Club. She loved to joke with everyone around her and wouldn't mind being pampered from those she loved.

Living family members include her son, Harvey (Laura) Kaiser of Charles City; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two sisters: Mary Buckley and Carol (John) Stark of Carthage, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry on December 29, 1999; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
