Myrtle A. (McRoberts) Shook – August 19, 1886 – August 8, 1966

MRS. PAUL SHOOK DIED AT AGE 78

Mrs. Paul (Myrtle) Shook, 79 of Plainfield died August 8 at Floyd Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for eight days.

She was born August 19, 1886, in the Greene area. Her parents were W. H. McRoberts and Mary Eikenberry. They were married December 31, 1906.

Surviving are her husband, Paul D. Shook, Plainfield; two daughters, Mrs. Galen Smith, Greene, and Mrs. Austin Williams, Goldfield; three sons, Merrill, el Centro, California, Merlin, Modesto, California, Paul, Jr., Haddon Heights, New Jersey, seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held August 10 at the Church of the Brethren at 2 p.m. in Greene. Rev. Ronald Wamsley of Plainfield officiated, with burial I Rosehill Cemetery at Greene.

Pallbearers were Victor busse, Clarksville; Howard Bossom, Plainfield; Oswald Luloff, Waverly; Edwin Schilling, Leonard Lyons and Wesley Fober, all of Plainfield.
