Judson Martin Ritter – September 2, 1892 – April 18, 1964

RITES HELD FOR JUDD RITTER

Judd Ritter, 71, died at the Iowa Soldier’s Home in Marshalltown on Saturday, April 18, 1964, where due to failing health he had been a resident for nearly two years.

Judson Martin Ritter was born on September 2, 1892, at Marble Rock the son of William H. and Desdemona Ackley Ritter. His life was spent in the Marble Rock Community. Mr. Ritter served his country in World War I.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Josephine Reams of Rockford, and two brothers, Clifford of Charles City and Leo of Rockford. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Grace and Mrs. Eva Nott, and three brothers, Harley, Ross and Frank.

Funeral services were held in Reid’s Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. George Baker officiating. Burial was in Westside Cemetery at Marble Rock.
