CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Ruth Adeline Krumrey, 95, of Charles City died Monday, July 6, 2015, at Cedar Health Nursing Home in Charles City.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Hospice of North Iowa.

Obituary for Ruth Adeline Krumrey

Ruth Adeline Krumrey, 95, of Charles City, Iowa, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at Cedar Health Nursing Home in Charles City.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm with a one hour prior visitation on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt Street, Charles City. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City following the service.

Ruth was born on July 24, 1919 in Floyd, Iowa, to Bert and Edith Hills Raymond. She married Lloyd H. Krumrey on May 26, 1934 at the Lutheran parsonage in Elkader, Iowa. Lloyd and Ruth lived on the farm where Lloyd had been born near Colwell for over 61 years.

She is survived by her son, Darwin L. (Nancy Jo) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, three grandchildren; Jeffrey Krumrey of Shawnee, Kansas, Jennifer (David) Monaghan of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Jacqueline Krumrey (Joe Michel) of Corvallis, Oregon. She has three great-grandsons; Cole Krumrey and Jack Hays of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Oscar Michel of Corvallis, Oregon. She also has four step-great-grandchildren, Katharine, Noah, Daniel, and Madison Monaghan of Bixby, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother Lloyd, daughter Dorla Jean, and son-in-law Richard Lines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Hospice of North Iowa.
