Charles William Huggett – September 19, 1882 – May 6, 1950

MARBLE ROCK MAN DIED ON SATURDAY

Charles William Huggett passed away suddenly at his home early Saturday morning following a long period of invalidism.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Bethel Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Charles Fox. Lee Adams sang “Beyond the Sunset’ and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, accompanied by Mrs. Walter Marsh. Flowers wee I charge of Ora Garber and Mrs. Carl Truex. Members of the Masonic Lodge were beaters. Burial was in the West Side Cemetery.

Mr. Huggett was born September 19, 1882 in Marble Rock which has been his life- long home. He was the son of Robert and Ella Huggett.

On June 3, 1932 he was united in marriage to Nora Graves
He was forced to give up his position with the electric light company eight years ago, a position he had held in both Marble Rock and Greene for many years.

He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. A. G. Markle of Rockford and other relatives.

Note***His wife Nora Graves mentioned in the obit was; Lanora May (nee Moffett) Graves Huggett. She was the daughter of Albert Moffett and Nettie (Lines) Moffett.

Her first husband was Lois F. Graves
