Rites Wednesday for Charles City Woman

CHARLES CITY – Funeral services will be held at the Grossmann Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Lloyd Virchow, 50, of 303 Tenth Avenue, who died Monday morning at the Cedar Valley Hospital, following a short illness. The Rev. R.N. Benedict will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Virchow was born Nov. 4, 1902, at Freeport, Ill., She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy McDonald, both of Charles City; one brother Raymond Nagel, Saginaw, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Holmes, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Charles Durnad, Atlanta, Ga., and one grandson, Jeffrey.
