A graveside service for Reva Lockie will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Pastor Jim Beranek from Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate.

Reva Nell Owens Lockie, daughter of the late Omer Owens and Sylvia Joiner Owens, was born November 16, 1927 in Harrisburg, Illinois. She departed this life April 20, 2015 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Paul "Gene" E. Lockie June 25, 1947 in Nashua, Iowa and to this union four daughters were born.

She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She and her husband, Gene, have owned and operated Cedar Ridge RV Park in Calico Rock for 27 years. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Gene Lockie at home; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Terry Lockie and Will Buell of Homer, Nebraska, Nancy Valladares of Calico Rock, Janis Lockie and Gil Tofte of Milton, Washington, Lori and Merle Tibbitts of Calico Rock; three brothers: Thomas Owens of California, Harold Owens of Phoenix, Arizona and Kenneth Owens of Springfield, Illinois; two grandchildren: Tiffany Kobeck and Brent Salmons; five great grandchildren: Chole Salmons, Tyler Salmons, Jordan Lenz, Logan Lenz and Samantha Kobeck and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Jerald Owens and one grandson: Sean Vann.

Memorials may be made to: Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Van Fund, 107 AR Hwy 56, Calico Rock, Arkansas 72519.
