REV. W. MINOR LEMEN DIES
Rev. W. Minor Lemen, of Cedar Falls, a well-known Methodist minister, died Sunday night at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids, where he had been for the past nine weeks receiving treatments for diabetes.
Mr. Lemen had been in the ministry from 1879 until his retirement to Cedar Falls in 1922. He supplied in the Nashua pulpit for some time a few years ago and became quite well known in this community, and his friendly ways and inspiring qualities of manhood won for him the love and esteem of all who met him. He is survived by his wife and several children.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Cedar Falls, and at 1 o’clock a short service will be held at Rockford, Iowa, where interment will be made.
Rev. E. E. Clements of this city, was asked to act as one of the pallbearers, and expected to do so if the weather and roads would permit.
