CLARK BELL, 47, WAR VET, DIES
FUNERAL RITES TO BE MONDAY AFTERNOON AT CHARLES CITYCharles City – Clark A. Bell, 47 World War Veteran, died at the home of his sister Mrs. Wilfred Smith, Charles City, Saturday morning following an illness of about six months. He had been a farmer in Ulster Township.
Surviving Mr. Bell are his sister and five children, Margaret, Phyllis and Harold Bell, and Mrs. Shirley Lynch of Charles City and Gertrude Bell of Rudd. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1931.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Hauser Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walter Fritschel of the Lutheran church of Charles City in charge. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.

Clark married Lettie Krambeer, the daughter of William Krambeer and Gertrude Ellis.
