Orrin D Hoege – June 5, 1854 – November 21, 1924

Orrin D Hoege, who for more than thirty years has held the humble position of janitor of the Rockford schools, died last week after undergoing an operation for gallbladder.

Deceased was born in 1854. His funeral was under the direction of the Masonic Order, although the schools took a prominent part in laying away their old friend.

Orrin D Hoege was born in McHenry County, Illinois, the son of William Deyo Hoege and his 2nd wife Clara (Sheffield) Hoege.

His parents are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Floyd, Iowa. Orrin never married
