James "Jim" Molitor, 58, of Charles City, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, in the comfort of his own home.

A funeral Mass for Jim Molitor will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Reverend Gary Mayer will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church on Thursday an hour prior to the service.

James Donald Molitor was born February 11, 1957, at Sibley, the son of Ernest and Alvina (Odens) Molitor. He received his education from Charles City High School. On June 12, 1976, he was united in marriage to Tami Otto. Over the years Jim worked for Morton Building, Jet-Edge International, Bayline Decking and then as a private consultant. In 1994 Jim became proprietor of Tori's Tavern. Jim was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a world traveler and will be remembered as a people-person who enjoyed talking and joking with everyone.

Living family members include his wife, Tami of Charles City; four children, Travis (Brandy) Molitor of Charles City, Ann (Beau) Mead of Delhi, Matthew (Becky) Molitor of Charles City, Tori (Josh) Riegler of Davis, Calif.; six grandchildren, Brooklyn Molitor, Ava Molitor, Alaina Mead, Miles Mead, Olivia Molitor and Eli Mead; his mother, Alvina Molitor of Pierre, S.D.; four brothers, Gary (Brenda) Molitor of Mason City, Glenn (Charlene) Molitor of Mason City, Mark (Lydia) Molitor of St. Augustine, Fla. and Steve Molitor of Austin, Tex.; a sister, Mary (Bruce) Hunt of Pierre S.D.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
