OLEJNICZAK, WRIGHT, PARBERY

WATERLOO, IOWA - Senior Master Sgt. Jack J. Olejniczak, 69, of 1040 Sheerer Ave., died Friday, September 2, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

He was born November 18, 1935, in Charles City, son of Joe James and Helen Wright Olejniczak. He married Heather Parbery on June 22, 1957, in Kettering, England.

He was a 1954 graduate of Charles City High School and was employed as a senior master sergeant for the U.S. Air Force, including 12 years at Northrup, retiring in September 1994. He served in the Vietnam War

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Darrell (Althea) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Joe of Netcong, New Jersey; a daughter, Diana (Douglas) Nichols of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, Annice and Tyler Olejniczak, and Ben and Sean Nichols; his mother of Charles City; and a brother, Donald (Judy) of Charles City.

Preceded in death by his father; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Stella; and a nephew, Mark Olejniczak.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Full military rites will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
