CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Stanley Dana, 71, of Charles City, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

No funeral services are planned at this time.

There will be a visitation Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Stanley Dana, 71, of Charles City, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

No funeral services are planned at this time.

There will be a visitation Monday, December 8, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Stanley Martin Dana was born July 18, 1943, at Charles City, the son of Gale and Mildred (Carter) Dana. He graduated from New Hampton High School. Stanley proudly served in the United States Army. He was married and divorced three times. During most of his life Stanley was a trucker. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching and working on motorcycles and cars.

Living family members include two children, Stacy Dana and Jennifer Leslie both of Charles City; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five siblings: Marlys (Leonard) Boehmer of Evansdale, Lyneen (Ed) Brunsting of Charles City, Gary (Janice) Dana of Charles City, Sharon Springer of Charles City and Cheryl Roeder of Arlington, Tex.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Travis Dana; three brothers, Bruce, Roger and Terry Dana; and a sister, Marcene Cobourn.
