OSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. Ervin Charlesworth, 78, died Friday at Guttenberg, where she had made her home with her son, Fay, the past five years; funeral, Sunday afternoon at Guttenberg, with burial in a Guttenberg cemetery beside her husband.

Born at Charles City as Lucy Earhart to William and Elizabeth Earhart, April 19, 1875; accompanied family to Osage as a young girl, and there married Ervin Charlesworth in 1890. The couple lived in Osage all their married lives until five years ago. Her husband died at Guttenberg.

She leaves a son, Fay; two grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Austin Laughlin and Mrs. Myrtle Moss, both of Osage; Mrs. Charles Cherney, Shehandoah, and Mrs. Ray Roberts, Cooksville, Tennessee.

Preceding her in death also were two sisters, Mrs. May Schoonover and Mrs. Anna Douglas, and an infant brother.
