Charles City, Iowa — Mrs. Ferdinand Frederick died at her home, 407 Fifteenth Avenue, at 12:35 a. m. Friday. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran church here.

Mrs. Frederick was 81 years old.

Surviving are her husband, six daughters and five sons: Mrs. Paul Lux, Chicago; Mrs. M. B. Hadden, Des Moines; Mrs. William Cathrae, Eustis, Florida; Louise, New York City; Emma, Los Angeles, California; Lena, Chicago; Gustave, Waukegan, Illinois; William, Emil, Otto, and Herman, all of Charles City.
