Rockford - Funeral services were held Thursday for Phillip B. Shultz, 87, who died Tuesday in a hospital at Independence; burial at Marble Rock; son of Paxton and Hannah Shultz, he was born Aug. 16, 1863, in Illinois. He married Hazel Coonradt, who preceded him in death on Aug. 20, 1949; operated a farm south of Rockford most of his life and moved to Rockford only a few years ago; resided in a nursing home for several months until he was admitted to the hospital last week; leaves daughter, Mrs. Doris Walsh, Nashua and three nephews.

*Phillip was also married to Lula Van Deusen. She died before 1910.
