Mrs. Mayme Paley, a former resident here, has died at her home in New Jersey. We understand the body will be brought her for burial. Mrs. Paley was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sours, Sr., a sister of Philip Sours, of this place; Samuel of Sherry, Wis., Louis, of Iowa Falls; Roy, of Charles City, and the late Mrs. Ellen Ritter Halstead, who passed away a short time ago.

Mrs. Mayme Paley, who passed away in New Jersey several weeks ago, will be laid to rest in the Hill Side cemetery this week. The funeral services will be held in the Christian church here Friday afternoon at two o'clock. The sermon will be preached by Mrs. Ella Smith Sours of Iowa Falls.

The Iowa Recorder, Greene Iowa, July 3, 1929Funeral services for Mrs. Mayme Paley, who died in Jersey City, New Jersey, several weeks ago, were held in the Christian church her on Friday afternoon at two o'clock, and were in charge of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Ella Smith Sours, of Iowa Falls. Selections were sung by Grant Coover, accompanied by Mrs. S.W. McNinch.
Interment was it the Hill Side cemetery here, beside the grave of their son, Ralph, who passed away several years ago. Mrs. Paley was 60 years of age, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sours Sr.
She is mourned by her husband, Mr. Gus Paley, two sons, Louis, Chicago, Ward, Jersey City; two daughters, Mrs. Alberta McKay, St. Paul, and Doris, married and living in New Jersey; also four brothers, Philip Sours, Marble Rock, Samuel, Sherry, Wisconsin, Louis, Iowa Falls, and Ray, Charles City.
