Former Resident Died In California

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Matie O'Keefe, widow of Dr. J. C. O'Keefe, formerly of Marble Rock, who passed away at a hospital in Long Beach, California on June 29th.

Mrs. O'Keefe suffered a stroke about a month ago and was taken from the Schylor Hotel at Long Beach where she had made her home for many years, to a hospital.

Funeral services were held July 2nd at a Long Beach Mortuary. Her ashes will be brought to Marble Rock later for burial.
