Obituary -- Mrs. Ralph Horr

Jennie Viola Reed was born in Durand, Ill., November 30, 1862, and died at her home in Marble Rock, Iowa, November 6, 1919.

She was united in marriage to Ralph C. Horr, April 19th, 1884. To this union, one son, Reed V. Horr, was born, Reed V. Horr, was born, Aug. 29th, 1897.

Mrs. Horr was a charter member of the D.A.R, ??? a member of Star Temple Pythian Sisters, during the life of that order, and also the Yeomen lodge. She was ever faithful in all work pertaining to the Red Cross and was at one time the efficient president of that society.

Mrs. Horr was a helpful member of the Ladies Aid society and will be greatly missed.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the home and was in charge of Rev. S.T. Weaver. Beautiful selections were sung by Mesdames Geo Barber and Chas. Moore, accompanied by Mrs. Ed Swant. The flowers were unusually beautiful and told of the love and regard in which Mrs. Horr was held.
