Benjamin:-- In this city, Friday, March 22, 1889, pneumonia, Mrs. D. G. Benjamin, aged 69 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Mrs. Roxalina Sexton Benjamin, was born in Butternuts, Otsego County, new York, October 5, 1819; was married to De Grand Benjamin and moved to De Ruytr, New York, some twenty years later.

They came to this city on April 4, 1874, and have since made it their home. Three daughters were born to them, two of whom are now living.

While dying, Mrs. Benjamin's last words were, "I am going home to see Louisa." She was one of those quiet, unostentatious women who look upon life's greatest work to make home happy.

The funeral took place Sunday afternoon.
