DIES AT VANCOUVER

CHARLES CITY - Ernest Diekman, brother of Miss Elizabeth Diekman and Mrs. George Wentland of Charles City, died March 4 in a hospital at Vancouver Island, B.C. Services were held in the Oak Bay chapel in Victoria, B.C., where the body was cremated. The Rev. Canon A.E. Hendy officiated at the Westwood at the Westwood Chapel of the Flowers. Masons were pallbearers. Mr. Diekman was a conductor on the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Burial will be in the family plot in the West St. Charles Cemetery, upon arrival of the remains in Charles City.
