Mrs. B.S. Reed, 64, Buried at Rockford

RUDD - Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home for Mrs. Benjamin S. Reed, 64, who died Thursday following two weeks illness from pneumonia. The Rev. Mr. Hess, pastor of the Church of Christ, Charles City, was in charge.

Addie R. Moore was born Oct. 2 1866, in Erie county, New York. At about eight years of age she removed with her parents to Illinois and a year later to Rockford in which vicinity she since resided.

On March 25, 1885, she was united in marriage to Benjamin Smith Reed. Two children were born to this union, L.E. Reed of Charles City and Ruth E. Baker of Rockford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

About 10 years ago her health began to fail and for nearly three years preceding her death she had been confined to her bed.
